Local NC work

What you are seeing are trucks from the two dedicated accounts in the area: The Weyerhaeuser mill in Elkin NC and the Weyerhaeuser distribution center in Concord NC. Elkin has 5 day cabs only and Concord has 12 day cabs and 6 sleepers as of now.

 

Can you tell me if Maverick has a trainer(s) in the Mebane/Burlington area of North Carolina? Thanks

 

That I couldn't tell you. I don't think they have many trainers in NC period, but I could be wrong. Even if they do, that doesn't mean you would get one. I live near Charlotte and my trainer lived in Ft Smith

 

A guy in my glass class lived in concord, nc and his trainer was 12 miles from is his house but there is no guarantee he will be available. he also had to do one of the Weyerhaeuser accounts for 2 months and hated it for what it's worth.

 

He must of had to do the Weyerhaeuser account that I am on. I thought the account was pretty good when they were busy....as long as you don't mind working which most drivers seem to have a serious problem with! Now that it has slowed down I'm not too happy. I hope it picks back up soon or I'll have to go elsewhere.

 

I think you hit the nail on the head. Us glass drivers like our nice 2-3 day runs not the 2-3 in a day. lol
