LOL... Probably the funniest post i've read in a while...
Yeah, California is just withering away with empty store shelves and deserted streets. Who knows, maybe soon they will only be the 10th largest economy in the world instead of the 9th. California's GDP is equal to the southeast united states from N.Carolina to Florida and west to Luisiana, up to Ohio. Tell me again how they will starve if they only have SWIFT, Knight, JB Hunt, Snieder, Werner, and a thousand other trucking companies willing to go there. LOL. Yeah, they're really going to miss Billy Bobs one pony trucking outfit.
You old timers from the deep south really seem to think the "trucking industry" is a bunch of one truck operations and "without trucks 'Merica stops". I got news for ya'. 90% of the trucks on the road in the western U.S. are fleets with hundreds of trucks and guess what, they have been CARB compliant for years.

I've been to the Ontario twins when they've been empty. It fluctuates.

I don't know it kinda makes me want to pull up to a flat bed. Then cut my reefer on to -10 and follow him to the different spaces when he moves. Heck you could swear my reefer is on now nobody is around me. I have 4 spaces to my left empty, and probably 10 to 15 spaces to my right. Guess not much drop deck freight. A bunch of empty wagons.

I always like to park way in the back whenever I park at the Ontario Petro. Of course the guy who likes to idle all night with the massive air leak so his governor pops out every 10 seconds always likes to park next to me.

In the last 6 months. I was there about 6 months ago they were painting everything green.
Didn't think about it. The next time I went out there it was a petro.

Kind of scarey in a good sort of way if they're this empty.Trucks aren't the only ones that will be taking the hit.Everybody will be losing money all because Calif thinks the evil trucking industry is the root to the ppls poor health.

Being Born in the great state of Cali. San Diego. Raised in the Great state of Texas. I'm glad the Left coast is making this industry conserve it's fuel. Getting rid of those black smoke coal train trucks, and cleaner burning ultra low sulfur fuel. It's not California's fault the industry is afraid to raise the rates. They would rather run each other out of business so they haul more cheap freight. God put man on this earth to take care of it. Not destroy it. Now I will say Skirts don't belong on trucks. Only big uhhhh you know what i wan to say. But I am getting 8.8mpg in this K Wopper 680 with the side skirts on the trailer. I have the wing as well but one side is broken so its closed. Does help I only have 6 thousands pounds on. Well in my Earl Pits Voice.

    WAKE UP AMERICA!! PITTS OFF

You do have a point. If it wasn't for the state of California we'd still have cars without catalytic converters or EGR valves.
