Check out pro miles dot com, $40 a month, save that in first few fill ups. Some say to much money, some are penny wise and dollar foolish.

Over pay for a truck you will never own, but want discounted fuel. Come on folks. Some things just don't add up. Wow now that I think about it. These lease companies are Geniuses they get rid of their 2 biggest expenses. Fuel, and driver pay. You bet their bottom dollar they don't care about your credit and will give you the truck for no down payment.........Booop There's your sign :)

I buy a lot of fuel away from truck stops, at smaller mom and pop stores that are just a fuel stop. Some are hard to get in and out of but sometimes you save 5 to 6 cents or more a gallon. Most of the time if truck stops are 50 to 100 miles apart some where in between them will be a little station with much cheaper fuel. Naturally when you find such a place you have to remember it. The bigger places charge for the convenience of being close to the interstate, and an all in one combo.

I agree with the other guy. Those fuel taxes are a lot in some states. As a company regional driver,we were forbidden from using our fuel cards in Iowa!

Thank you for the input. I'm trying to figure out how to do the "Thanks" on here, but I'm missing it somewhere....

You have to have more post to activate the Thanks and the PM part. You only have 2 on your post count at this time.

I been using the Mom's and Pops to. Here The Speedways have been 12-15 cents cheaper than the Pilot, J, T/A's ect even with the cash price and 8 cent off using EFS fleet Card

    cpieren Thanks this.

Not sure who her husband is leased to I can take a good guess. But you need to know if the company is getting fuel discounts from the truck stops. Usually it's cheaper then what the sign is saying. So before you go to the mom and pops you might want to make sure he is not missing out on the discount that the company gets at the major chain truck stops.

heavyhaulerss - question from a newbie - so you saved that $375 in a week, but gave up the 500+ miles because of the difference in speed. Wouldn't those miles more than paid for the $375 loss in fuel efficiency? I'm thinking that if you have the time, slowing makes sense, but if you are giving up an extra trip, not so much. Where am I off on this? Thanks.
