Effort = Results
hit a speed bump and stop , no results.
Fight thru , and keep going .
NoCraig put in the effort, and got the results.
Anyone who quits after 3 months or so , obviously does not put in the effort and expects some entitled compensation for putting in minimal work .Wedge Thanks this. -
Hi Vikingswen.
My truck issues stem more from desk jockeys trying to make the correct decision than from real truck problems. Moving drivers from truck to truck is not the answer unless the situation is extreme.
I tend to resist re-seats unless I have no choice. 4 trucks in 6 weeks is a bit much. They will have to drag me kicking and screaming out of this truck. I still have some minor issues to resolve, but they can wait.
I'll do my best to keep you entertained. I've had a lot on my plate recently, so I haven't had the time to write as often as I would prefer.
But I will try to do better.vikingswen Thanks this. -
Sorry to hear you're having problems.
Recovering a truck is one of the tasks that comes with the job. Sometimes we're just short on tractors. But before moving in and heading down the road, it's important to fully inspect your truck.
Some of those issues you have are safety related, and must be fixed before you start driving.
Tell your FM that you have these problems with your truck and that they need to be repaired. No heat, can't see out the windows, no jake brake, we're talking safety, my friend.
If your FM doesn't do something about it by routing you to a terminal, contact the safety department. They will get you sorted out.
Your trainer should have instructed you on how to properly inspect the truck you would be assigned. I guess that didn't happen. The training department should be made aware that this didn't occur. USX doesn't want trainers riding around with students just to enhance their pay. Tell them.
Sleeping while the truck's moving.................well, that just takes getting use to. Your body will adjust.
If your FM is not doing his or her job, ask who your Fleet Owner is, contact him, and ask to be assigned to another FM's board. That's how it works.
Hang in there with the truck. Let them make it right. You won't be in it for long. -
Merry Christmas Sammycat and Trucker Dave.
Yeah, spent the customary longer time out so I could be home longer while the kids were in town. Time sure does fly when you're having fun. Went back out on the 29th.
I know................ Maybe I won't come home at all, then, I'll take 48 days off. -
HD, I have asked you before...............enough with this negative posting on this thread.
Please stop.biggare1980 Thanks this.
