Positive things about CR England

    If you have a haz mat/ tanker endorsement--haul gasoline. If you can hookup a local company, it's beautiful to load and unload. I did it before in New York, a friend of mine had 5 gas stations that needed filling everyday. I used to go to one station he had three 12000 gal tanks underground. I used to drop 8000 gal out of my 9200 gal trailer at least every other day. These turks had some business going I'll tell you. If I didn't see it I wouldn't of believe the money these boys had all over there desk counting.
    I used to haul out of Brooklyn Metro terminal and it's bottom loading. Diesel was top loaded, but it was easy. Now there guys say your nuts, for hauling gas. Look at them guys that haul for mobile, shell, they have a nice job. One item everybody needs, everyday.
    That's just one experience I had that I thought was pretty good, cause your going to the same places everyday. Home every night.

    HeY Ma!

    I noticed that RollingThunder posted in the threads for reporting about Bad Trucking Companies a couple of days ago about, YuP, you guessed it -- C.R. England.

    I posted a reply to his post, but I don't know if he still has me on "ignore" or not. I'd appreciate it if you'd read it, see what you think, and ask Billy to read it also.

    Perhaps others should read what RollingThunder has to relate about C.R. England now that he's experienced their training program. I think it was pretty stand-up on his part to let folks know the truth of the matter. And I hope he better understands my motives when I tried to get him to reconsider C.R. England.

    No hard feelings on my part, and I hope he feels the same. I took no pleasure in reading of his experience at C.R. England. I just wish he'd have picked a better company to start with. Some say all Big truck truckin' companies are the same, except for the color of their Big trucks -- however, I'd don't agree. When it comes to red Big trucks, I think C.R. England is among the worst of the worst -- and it seems as though many more agree with that assessment, especially after experiencing what they have to offer.

    IMO, folks with limited experience driving a Big truck for C.R. England, and are encouraging others to sign on, are doing wannabes and newbies a dis-service. Those with prior Big truck truckin' experience seem to already know to avoid that company all together.

    There are lessons to be learned here if folks will only listen to the advice of those who know the pitfalls of C.R. England. Will they?
    I dunno.
    But I hope they will.

    Like I told you, he had his heart set on it, and he doesn't turn and run that easy. He had to find out for himself. he shouldn't be ashamed for trying. He said he has his cdL so he 's walking away with something.
    I know that business, and when I started out it was different, to a point. But I had my share of begging for my paycheck and breakdowns, layovers and what have you.

    It will be easy to count your money. But as long as they get dopes on a rope appling they will keep it easy for you to count.

    Well... I read most of this thread... and am real curious... did Billy stay with CRE?

    Currently, Billy is listed as M.I.A., but his file is about to be
    transferred to the Cold Case Department where it'll probably remain
    on a shelf until C.R.E. fesses up and tells us where Billy picked up his
    last known load so the investigators can try to pick up his trail to see
    where it leads.

    I'm sure others will join me in wishin' 'em luck and hope they'll bring Billy back. It must be near time to renew his C.R.E. Lease/Fleece Contract. :biggrin_25511::biggrin_25517: :biggrin_25525:

    LOL... I'll keep reading... just in case something turns up.

    My hubby just turned in his truck this week to CRE. 2 years and nothing but experience we are walking away from the "fleece" contract. There are some that say they are making it work there, but for us... that was not the case... so we stuck it out long enough to get some experience and move on and upwards to greener fields.
