Roehl Driver Check In Continued

FJ in Toledo weather didn't kick up til about 20 miles away from it. Got fuel continplated on pushing on up to MI but decided to hang back. Same here like 10 inches tonight sub zero temps. I think the weather supposed to be bad all day tomorrow. We'll see what happens. -25 is my record cold so interesting to see what's up. Getting used to weather in the teens though, then home in a couple days to fl peeps freezing in 60 degree weather smh

 

Packers lost=no freight for Drivers tomorrow. Marshfield won't be in a good mood.

 

Its flippin Cold in South Dakota, whats really fricken sad i got to head back to the twin cities in the am to grab a load heading to Minot ND. What ever happend to Global warming?

 

At home still. Roads are hazardous this morning on entirety of my route. Even have a couple Road Closures on my Route. So, I've shut down at home and notified FM's to notify customer service. Place I would have picked up is only 5 miles North of I80 in IN and route would have me go West to Gary, and then to WI.
Oh well. And everyone at home had closures. Wife, work closed. Kids, School closed. Daycare, most of them are closed.
Hoping Tue or Wed is when they reschedule it to, long as it's safer.

Not me. I'm traveling by car. My wife and I are at her brother's in Traverse City, MI. We have to travel across the UP to get home and it's supposed to snow more tomorrow. We might stay an extra day. I just left a voicemail for my FM.

 

CS wanted to know if I could pick up in the least. I responded that I don't think it would be a safe thing to do today. Then on Wood TV 8, they reported a Semi crash on W I 196, closing all lanes and a crash in the clean up on US 131 south of Grand Rapids. They also shown dash cam video of North bound US 131 South of Grand Rapids near K-Zoo. The road appeared clear in 1 lane, but drifting snow and blizzard conditions have it in near white out conditions. I have no desire to drive into a vehicle or ditch, so I am remaining shut down to at least tomorrow.

 

If there's high winds, it might be closed to go across Big Mac.
