Carbon dioxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, and Sulfur Dioxide can make you just as dead just as quick as Carbon Monoxide. You motor inhales more air than the standard cab and sleeper contains on every revolution. NO2 and SO2 not only displace oxygen, but can make you drown in your own mucus with long enough exposure. And don't even get me started on Ultrafine Particulates.

I recommend every driver get detectors. A better option is the detector with readout. Cheap on Amazon. Buy it now while your thinking of it and have it shipped to your house. Most will have forgotten they ordered it by the time they get it. And USE it. One in the cab and one in the sleeper. Long term low level exposure to Carbon Monoxide causes hearing loss and a multitude of other ailments. Be informed and be safe. Dont cheap out and get the right gear for the job.

FYI, my exhaust is cleaner than my intake!
