Hoping for a long run to make up for dealership down time (new crank seal). Joplin shop guys laughed and asked knowingly "Maxxforce?" as I refilled my collection of jugs. 2 gal coolant, 8 gal oil, 4 gal washer fluid -- that ought to last the month...

What's the trick to getting coolant and the like from Joplin yellow?

I asked if they had power steering fluid once and they said they don't give out fluids from the parts room or the guy manning the shop office.

I also learned not to ask for wipers there....they handed me the saddest tiniest coverage baby wiper. Might have worked for the side mirrors.

If asking for wipers, make sure to specify winter blades. They stock them, but unless you ask, you'll get summer blades.
Also ask to keep the old ones. Good to have a spare set in case you throw a blade.

Oil, coolant, and washer fluid is self service in shop bays via labeled pull down reels. Parts will even supply you with gallon jugs.

When you hit a dock, and consignee makes sure your aware they have 2 hours to unload...well you can count on not getting unloaded in a hour. But you can set your watch for 2 hours.

Paul ... we got a preplan last night before we even got into Laredo, but it's not here yet, there is 10 people on the board as of right now. We brought a load from Seguin down here that was a TS load going straight to the store, no need to swing by the yard but they had has bring it to yard and drop it because it delivered at 8am and this new load isn't suppose to be here till 1900
