I got a question. Don't know if anyone may be able to answer it. My friend was curious on how Central is able to have dmv certified instructors for training but no other school in CA does on site testing. Any advice or answers would be appreciated.

This is simply an untrue statement. CRST and CR England fontana both do there own dmv testing. They only go to DMV to turn in the paperwork and take pictures. SMILE.

that is called a 3rd party tester, same as I did in Murfreesboro Tennessee at tdi/cdi...done it all at the 3 week school and got my class A then I went with us,xpress.
during the orientation there in Dalton ga,there road test was just 1 loop around the block, then u do 170 hours with a trainee, then u go back and do a upgrade, which then u have to ride with a student from your orientation class for 8 weeks, then u go back to Dalton ga to do a road test again, but its with a 10 speed peterbuilt that road test takes 1 hour, then u graduate to your own truck, very long process....I tell ya that..lol

Yeah, I'm going through a different compnay that has a fast paced school. After that I go over the road with a trainer for 28 days, or 200 hours what ever comes first. I come back for my upgrade test, do a road test again and some basic computer test. After that I get my own truck.

It's not whichever comes first, it's a minimum of both. Good luck and drive safe.

I start orientation with Central R... on Monday!! I have a CDL, but no experience. I am seeking info about the road test. I am nervous I won't pass since my driving school only taught me enough to pass the DMV test, so I only got to drive on specific route the whole time I was training and in Texas I only I to know how to straight back and parrellel park. And also the truck was automatic and the trailer was only a 30 ft.
