Advice for tanker driver wannabe

    I've been pulling a dry van for about 21 months now, and I'm ready to start moving towards my goal of driving tanker. Looking for some advice from the seasoned tanker drivers on where to start.

    I live in the northwest near Portland OR, have a spotless driving record and all endorsements. Local,regional,OTR would be fine. Any advice on good companies to start with would be appreciated.

    Hood River Valley Transport, I think that's what their called are right there in The Dalles, Or right on the Columbia Rivertop notch company , top notch equipment,

    Thanks for the info. I applied with JJW and QC. Looks like Airgas wants some tanker experience. I'll contact Superior and see if they're hiring in Oregon.
