Cool thanks I guess I figured the did all the load info automaticly. And how could a guy not know about approving logs by now they have only sent out about a hundred messages about it lol

With the way Gordon dispatches can a driver run more or less exclusively during day time hours?
-
They actually do use drivers to help; one of the issues with the Indy class this week was finding drivers who could get around in the bad weather pretty much everybody was having last week, especially the Midwest. I'm hoping for a NO-REPEAT Monday next week!
For what it's worth - and assuming Joseph allows it! - to the extent possible, I will keep everybody up-to-date on what's covered next week -- assuming I get there and make it through the medical, physical, and driving tests. Having been a pilot for 40+ years, I got tested all the time and I HATED every one of them.Newtrucker bak Thanks this. -
I have never worked for Gordon and I can answer this. The answer is no. There will be times you have to drive at night. It's just the nature of the beast.

I've been driving a year and it was never a problem at any of my other companies. So I don't buy that nature of the beast stuff.
-
On dry van I drive days... occasionally I may have to start out a little early but once you start your 14 hr clock in the morning you pretty much stick to that schedule. .. unless you change it.sharp.dressed.man Thanks this.

I love driving at night. There are fewer vehicles, fewer LEO's, fewer weight stations...and better music! I used to love flying at night, so I guess it's part of my makeup now. Because I need new glasses and my auto-tint doesn't work inside a vehicle, I had to do something last week I have never done before...buy prescription sun glasses!
Weeble Kneeble and double yellow Thank this. -
I did that also... but I finally started wearing contacts and love them... now I am wearing $300 Oakleys instead...lol
I found that contacts improved my depth perception remarkably and no more spots on my glasses..
