Hi! I'm Chris nickname pistol! I am a 53 yr old female who has about 6 months experience and over 50,000 miles OTR and I5 California. I left CR England and I am sure I need not say any more! The thing is I want to drive, I'm a good driver, I want to work, I am willing to learn more....I LOVE being over the road and can be out there weeks at a time. I want to make money.....I do not want to make other people money any longer!!! I would love to be a co-driver for an owner operator, all 48 if possible!! I am adaptable, flexible, easy to get along with, I don't get mad easily and try to find the humor in most situations! If someone is interested and would like to know more you can email me and I would be glad to answer all questions. I live in California (where my 3 boys are) and originally from MA (where all my family lives); I also have a granddaughter in Arkansas....so see I am very flexible about home time etc. I just want to drive, make money, and learn as much as I can in hopes of obtaining my own truck.
Any owner operators looking for a co-driver or willing to work with me...I would love to hear from you before signing on with another company, attending their orientation, and making yet another "trainer" money for a few hours or miles...who most likely has 3 mo. more experience than I do!!!

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Thanks I applied to yet another few companies today and got bombarded with responses...the thing is that I do not trust "recruiters" any more because of my experience with CR England and Werner!! I would like to own my own rig one day but not in the near future!! I just want to drive!! I am in great condition, have a drive for this, LOVE being on the road and just don't want to make anyone else money...the last "trainer" drove a total of 5 hrs maybe daily (slept the other 6 or so)on his dedicated I-5 route while I drove 11!! I would drive 6-61/2 straight take my break, drive another 5!!! He would make the money for ALL the miles and me?!! Well let's say...I was becoming more and more agitated!! Only to be told when I returned for my "qualification" for my own truck...that I left something out of the application (the application was over the phone and I did not) and I had to be sent home BUT could re-apply and come back!!! Re-apply?!! Start over again!! SERIOUSLY!!! That was Werner.....CR England I drove 31,000 miles without being called in for Phase 1 upgrade OR phase 2 and when they realized their mistake I was sent to SLC (I started in Fontana) told it was to bypass all phases and upgrade to my truck ONLY to be taken out on the road for 5 minutes and failed because I made a "buttonhook" right turn...and did not stop 10' before the stop sign and then roll up to it!!!! They felt I was aggressive and when they wouldn't even speak to the guy who had 22 years experience that I just drove 31,000 miles with OTR in all weather that was the trainer they assigned me,, well I BLEW IT!!! Later they state they fired me for un-safe driver and at the same time send me a letter stating I OWE them because I left the company before my 9 mo. commitment was complete!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! I have NO PROBLEM going through yet another company orientation and required training, even team up...as I am gaining experience 8 speed, 10 speed, 13 speed, dry van, reefer, etc. HOWEVER, I would like a company that accepts THEIR TRAINER EVALS and MY passing of their test, without the BS!!! So many companies have contacted me, many I didn't apply to stating they got my application!!! Did they read it....BECAUSE I don't want to go drive for them for a month or more only to be let down yet again! They company who gets me will be getting a safe, competent driver, who wants to work, is liked my shippers and receivers, and has the drive and ambition to do so!!
