You have been advised who and where to file complaints. Your state's Attorney General office is the primary/best one.
I sure hope you follow thru on this.
If it happened to me, I'd at minimum, feel a responsibility to take action to prevent this happening to other drivers & O/Os.

I'm sure you wished the last "victims" would have filed complaints to shut his business down, or at least "correct" his ways.

    ziggity Thanks this.

Oh trust me i am going to go as far as i can with this, I dont take to getting screwed over.... we are having problems with our scanner , but im working on it to get it fixed. I think there needs to be a sub forum on here for just this type of issue, so we can warn each other of this type of stuff

Ok, I will ask this question even if I sound naive. I know that if I am loosing antifreeze I have to worry about where it is going. If he lost 3 gallons could it possibly be a sign of an engine issue versus being ripped off?

Let me put it to you this way. Say you know your car holds 5 qts of oil with filter.
Say you took it to Jiffy Lube for an oil change.
Now say you see they charged you for 8 qts of oil and filter, and claimed they put 8 qts of oil in it.
See the point. Has nothing to do with engine issues.

Did they document installing 14 gallons of oil in the motor? I don't know if being that overfilled would damage your motor, maybe somebody else here can answer that. The reason I'm curious is perhaps you can stick it back to him . Maybe sue him into making some repairs you may have already needed. Hate to sound shady, but if you try to screw me, I'm gonna try to screw ya back.

Here is the rip off report link, and yes i have it on the receipt where they charged me for oil it says 14 gallons, but our copier/ scanner isnt working. So i gotta figure out how to get it online to show . And as far as sticking it back for already needed repairs , nothing personal ,but i am not like that thats just not a way to be 2 wrongs ,doesn't make a right....
