Hey all,
I was wondering if there are any independents out there (own authority) doing there own thing. We have an older heil tanker 5500gal single compartment that we use on a dedicated gig (non-haz) for 4 months out of the year and it sits the rest of the year. I was thinking about trying to keep it moving year round this year. I only know of one brokerage that deals in liquid bulk freight. I am not here asking for phone numbers and rates, just wondering if there is work out there worth doing or if we should park it and hook back up to the stepdeck. I suppose we should look into other dedicated accounts. Thanks for any insight.
Mike
Any independent tank guys out there?

Try bulkloadsnow.com , there is a guy looking for a tank o/o, you can also look up tank loads on their load board. Good luck!

My dad is o/o for one dry bulk company in woodland pa and they take $60 off a day for using their trailers.

Good luck. You will be limited on loads due to a non code trailer. Your best bet will be finding somewhere that needs a "dedicated" truck. I'm not sure how the farming is there, but you could check with local fertilizer dealers to see if they need any liquid nitrogen hauled. Here in NC, the season is from January to April. Some power companies also use a urea solution to clean the smoke stacks in the summer. The business will be tough to find. Good luck
