Very few people have the test equipment, let alone the knowledge, required to properly tune a radio.

Both D11 and C73? You only need one hole in a tire to make it go flat. Only an idiot does this type of work not understanding the circuitry involved. If they are going to be a limiter clipper why remove both parts? Proves they cannot read a schematic. No way does a 2SC2078 nor a dropped in single 2SC1969 do 47 to 53 watts. This is nothing but stupid lying measurements. Most of the energy ends up on channels other than the one being talked on. Good luck with that. Or should I say 'hows that working for ya?'. Along with removing other parts? What other parts? The static drain resistor on the antenna terminal? What idiots. Good luck driving through stormy weather when the floating capacitor isolated antenna builds up so high a voltage it arcs through a cap and pops the RX front end and/or other components. A 1K resistor clipped that was across a 50 ohm output? How much power increase does this produce? 1/32 the width of a needle in the meter? While stopping the steady static drain which was the purpose of the resistor. Fools. Let me guess on a Galaxy they clip TR32, TR53, and R228 right? Why all 3 when any one would do the same thing? Yet I see this all the time as well as one diode swing mod added by someone not recognizing the other one already in there by a previous fool. Or was that R229 I'm not going to interrupt my coffee time to go look it up. I would suggest you only have people who understand radio and electronic theory actually work on your radios. Puts back 32 to 38 parts? Give me a break my BS meter needle only goes so high.rollingradios and mike5511 Thank this.

Hang around awhile and you'll get used to "thread hijacking"......it is an art form here. Meant to add a big smiley,

cause hijacking doesn't bother me a bit. Kind like a good conversation, no telling where it will end up.
