I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet. Watch out when walking in truck stops at night. This guy was only walking his dog.
Be careful walking in truck stops

Hope they catch the culprit....RIP
Marksteven Thanks this. -
I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often as well. Some of these guys drive way too fast. I was nearly hit walking by the pumps because this driver just flew through the island without stopping or even looking. He wasn't fueling so he kept it rolling. I always stop and look before pulling up to park if I'm not fueling

Another senseless death. Too many blind drivers and preoccupied pedestrians in the t/s lots.
-
Too many rookies on elogs trying to get every mile they can.
snowblind Thanks this. -
Senseless,, & also hope the hit & run vehicle is caught.
Witnesses report they saw the victim prior to the incident, but no one saw it when it happened.
RIP Driver,, you should not have had to leave this kind of way.Marksteven Thanks this. -
Was there snow piled up that maybe tripped up the pedestrian?
-
This isn't the first time this has happened, and it certainly isn't going to be the last time, unfortunately.....
CondoCruiser and Shaggy Thank this. -
Several years ago in CDL school was told to watch yourself at truck stops because of this. I'm sure this information has been passed down for decades.
