I'm embarrassed to say I didn't even know about this. My QC is quirky as can be though so not sure if this is going to work on mine. But I'll try. Can't even get mine to reset most of the time but if I can get it to read those messages that would help a ton.

Now if I can just get safety to stop sending messages about being safe with a priority exclamation...

lol....I love her pronounciations especially when you get close to a destination and she starts rambling off incoherent nonsense about "shipper, left turn, slide tandems...498...garbled...macro macro...Street Louis..."

Hey Wolf I did the same thing with the storage up top in my Prostar and the 2 mattresses on the bottom. Then I found a really nice pillow-top mattress that fits perfectly in the Prostars lower bunk. It's $200 at Sapp Brothers and they are usually hiding off in the corner of the store covered in plastic. I cant tell ya how comfortable that mattress is. It's a PIA to get into the truck but I'm telling ya it is so worth the money since we spend so much time in these things.

Here's a way that might be easier IF you have the room to do a few figure 8 turns. Remove the blue line from the trailer and do several figure 8s. Come to a gentle stop. The turning should even up the carriage to where the release lever pulls out easily. You released the blue line so that there are no brakes to the trailer to put the carriage in another bind. Slide the tandems as needed, reattach your blue line, and off you go. No hammer banging or needless trailer rocking, no muss no fuss, no sweat!

To put this in perspective, during training my take home was typically $300-450 per week. Once I started going solo take home was about $450-550 per week. That's running 2450 miles per week average. You start at $0.25 per mile for long hauls. After six months solo I'm up to $0.30 and take home can be up to $700 per week.

Once you are "in the system" doing OTR solo you can start looking for other opportunities, like running dedicated accounts. Wolfyinc has started running dedicated within his first year at Swift and has seen his take home pay get up into the $800-1000 per week range. I just started running dedicated and am waiting for my first paycheck under the new plan.

I have been bringing home $800-$900 a week after taxes, child support and all that junk, my top week so far was almost $1300. Yesterday I made $257.77 which was a nice day.

I may have to look into that. Beats my $300-400 paychecks
