LOL, No worries. I have been an airline (avionics) electrician for 20 years but without knowing the circuit (No wiring Diagram or schematic in front of me) its hard to know what I am looking for the circuit to do.

I checked the pins on the ecm plug and got battery voltage on pins 52,53 and key on 70. Grounds 65 and 67 had .1 ohms resistance. I'll try the cranking voltages in the morning when someone's here to crank the engine over as I can find my starter switch in the tool box.
-
on a separate question. I pulled my forward valve cover to check what my trim codes are for my injectors. I could see a single number on my injectors. do I have to remove anything besides the valve cover to see a number?
-
Here are the latest updates.
Pins 52, 53 and keyed 70 show battery voltage. Pins 67 and 65 show ground. While cranking engine 52 and 53 show 10.6 volts and 70 shows 10.1V.
I checked the cam and crank sensor resistance both at the sensor and ecm pins and they are within spec.
I looked for trim codes on the first two injectors and I couldn't find a single digit of information on the injectors. can someone post a photo of exactly where yo look?
What is a good default code to try on the engine to see if that's an issue?
I replaced the fuel hose from the Davco to the lift pump as a precaution. I will run t he engine tomorrow to see if I've eliminated the last of the air leaks. -
I will try and post a picture for you later. The trims should not effect starting. I have seen the same thing you describe on a c12. It was a bad ECM. Where did you get this replacement ecm you have was it second hand ?wore out Thanks this.

If you have made sure the fuel check valve is good, and no fuel is running back to tank after shutdown. And fuel pressure is good when running, no air is entering the system primer pump etc. I'd say the ECM you got is a dud.
Here's some Trim number locations for you. You could also pm me your serial # I may be able to help you another way.
Or cats recommended default trim for c10 and c12 value is 2300
3406E is 1100

Cetane+ Thanks this. -
I am leaning towards the bum ECM myself. As you suggested, I pulled the Cam Sensor Plug and the engine died so I replaced the Crank Sensor. That was no help on the restart but I will try to further trouble shoot the system tomorrow by seeing if the engine will still run after removing the Cam Sensor Plug again. If the truck still dies, there has to be an issue within the ECM that its not accepting the Crank Sensor signals.

Interesting Read on the Fuel Systems.

Same condition exists!

I hate it when people come on these types of message boards and ask for advice and then never follow up to tell you what fixed their truck or whatever it is they are seeking help on. So I'm here to wrap this up!
First I'd like to thank everyone for their help! A special thanks goes to MoreHP from New Zealand! He hooked me up with his US Rep Tim and together they sorted out that the wrong flash program had been installed in my New to me ECM. Hopefully, Hayden will pop in and say exactly what the issue was but I think the problem was the file for my old ecm was put into an updated ecm and it wasn't compatible or that the file was for an older 70 engine. I'm not quite sure but either way, it was I flash file error in my ecm!
The engine now fires right up and the benefit is I replaced a lot of old stuff with new stuff trying to get it fixed!
JoeDON81 Thanks this.
