are there any trucking companies that hire felons

The one I know about is Carolina Cargo. I don't know if that will help with you being in Cali. Check them out though.

 

Put in applications everywhere. Depending on the felony they might. Most seem to want 7 years since last felony tho.

 

Try CR England. I trained an ex-con during my lease there.

 

Try Ptl they give chances.

 

Gardner trucking based out of Chino,Bakers or Fontana not positive but thinking they're based out of Chino,Cal.Supposed to have a deal worked out with the govt to hire felons. Heard they have active m13 Mexican gangmembers with bandannas,countifeitures,and somebody profiled on Dateline currently driving for them. This is where I would check.

 

A felony 5 years old shouldn't be a problem with many companies.

 

Swift will hire.

 

It depends on the Felony. I was hired by Fed Ex while on Parole, but they had to take it up to the corporate level. My felony was child support.

Now if you felony had anything to do with a commercial vehicle you will not be allowed to hold a CDL. So I would assume that it doesn't. Theft is looked down upon as we carry expensive stuff. Most what the felony to be over 10 years but many take less on a case by case basis.

Did you learn how to make prison pizza? That could come in handing over the road.
