Central Refrigerated Truck Stop II

I knew it was gone now, but it was not announced until this year. I thought we would get it for last year.

 

So $300-500 more gone per quarter? "Serenity now..." Only 20 months to go!!! I feel like a misfit toy on that Christmas movie.

 

If they're both gone its a lot more than $500, especially for a trainer. It was about $800 for me as a solo. If there is one thing that will guarantee I start looking for other employment it's cutting my pay $3200/yr.

 

I give them about six months to convince me to stay. After that it's a long decision over whether or not I want to lose that performance bond. Mine is inflated since I hate to borrow to replace all ten tires. Funny thin is I paid it off in less than 2 months but now I have almost $4K sitting just out of reach.

 

Guess I was right after all......

 

Sounds like things are going to be different with all this swift mess.

 

This has been on rough week. Refer problems, load not ready, oh yeah hey go back a 50 miles they want to add to your load. And yeah the time will not change for 99. And then I will have to do ten hrs with the pigs to get fresh clock. I think it's time for some home time. Sorry just had to vent.

 

Sometimes you just need to vent, to get things off your mind. The fun of trucking. Going back 50 miles wouldn't be fun.

 

It keeps getting better at TK in Sioux city SD. I got another refer with problems was the only one left at last 99, so figure. Two hr wait for repairs and I can't get a answer from dm on location of a mt to keep rolling. Oh well what a week.

 

I'm late at a walmart because I forgot to emphasize CHECK THE REEFER every day last week, and I didn't outline WalMart's "if you're early you're late program." So they're not charging me but they are gonna take all day to remove 17 pallets. We were only 25 minutes early which after the line at the gate and at the window, that turned into 20 minutes late. Days like today are the days you realize you must really love driving!! So sometimes no matter who you work for, days just suck!!
