I know this is repeated multiple times and Iam gonna go ahead apologize in advance...

like I stated in my first post iam new to this and all help is appreciated. Iam looking to try and haul cars and anything that will fit on the trailer. Iam thinking about buying a 36ft gooseneck two car hauler because I have no cdl and I believe I will be over weight with a 3 car and iam not real confident in hauling a 53ft trailer also. Iam wanna start out hauling on the weekend to make sure I like doing it before I just quit my job. What all do I need to be legal and legit, I wanna do this right and not half ##### because I've seen what that can do, is there a website I can go to tell me what I need insurance and tag wise to be legal? Insurance...dot numbers, tags anything else?

Next questions is can you be profitable enough with a two car hauler to make a living and pay the bills if i go full time with this,I plain to haul whatever I can that will put money in my pocket haha not just cars.

36 ft isn't long enough and unless you have a dedicated run, you won't be putting any money in your pocket with a two car.

You'll need Insurance, DOT Authority, United Carrier Registration, depending on your state, a business license and I'm sure some more that I'm forgetting.

Heck, start a moving company. Get 2 or 3 straight trucks(under 26,000 GVW) (no airbrakes) and you dont need a cdl.Drive one and get 2 other driver and couple of helpers.Under cut the big companies. Theres big money to be made in a moving co. I'd forget about a gooseneck trailer. JMO

    EXPERIENCE.

You start pulling a 36' or a 53' Trailer on a 5th wheel just on a whim, you better have good insurance.
