Well Western Express, Inc has provided an opportunity to drive in their flatbed division and I want to know what's the deal with the equipment, pay, miles....etc.
Now I've heard more than enough negative reviews about them but I have mainly heard good things about their flatbed division.
So anybody out there who are currently running flatbed for Western Express, Inc..., give their experience.
Well..., have an oppurtunity to drive for Western Express, Inc.

Are you in need of a second chance carrier? If not you can do better. They are a second chance carrier, and there is a need for second chance carriers. If that's the case , it may be a fit. Get your feet back under you , get a year in and start looking. Best of luck!

Yeah..., I've made some dumb decisions back in 2012 and I'm miss doing flatbed. I used to run for Melton Truck Lines but I had to leave for personal reasons. They wouldn't take me back even though they say they would have. But I just want to know if their flatbed division is ok. Just to build my experience for 6 months to a year. Like you said get my feet back under me and move on.

Best of luck to you.

I don't like the way some of their guys secure stuff, seen one hauling steel beams about 3 feet high 40 feet long with 2 chains on whole thing. Seen one with a coil almost topple trailer taking a ramp too fast.

Wow...that's up pretty bad. But luckily for me I got flatbedding experience and know how to do most if not all loads properly.Chinatown Thanks this.

Here is the way I see it you know they are a crappy company.
So when they treat you like crap and a loser don't come crying about what a crappy company they are.
We all know that already.
They are know for hiring crappy drivers and trash .
So when we see you drive for them don't be surprised when some of us lump you into one of those 2 piles.
Remember you will be judged by the company you keep (as my grandma used to say ) .
Before all the well you have start somewhere crowd starts in.
You are right you do have start somewhere but you dont have to sell your soul to get a decent company to hire you .kubball and Semi Crazy Thank this. -
Just go there, and do your job better than the rest. Sooner or later, you'll be noticed, which will open some doors. (Shouldn't be too hard at Worthless Express lol)

I know they aren't the best in the nation and I know they are definitely not the worse. But no one else will hire me for another 6 months to a year. I got a reckless driving ticket and two other tickets that's not going to fall off until sometime in the middle of the year. I'm going just to get my feet back under me as the other poster simply put on this thread. I'm going to make the best out it.

I'm going to do what I do best. Keep the door closed and run as hard as possible. I got to make the best of it. I dug this hole for myself and I'm taking any opportunity I can to keep moving forward. No matter how slow of a crawl.
