    You are saying the screen froze? This is on DC? Does it do the same on AC?

    What screen did it freeze on?

    We only have a car charger for it... yes now the screen froze I got it turn off turn back on and then it froze again. It froze while loading to come on and it froze on the maps page while giving us directions. Has also been flickering before this all started

    I suspect a DC cord issue. If you can find one it requires 5vdc/1.5 amp output. Make sure the USB end has five pins. They do make one with 4 pins, but that will destroy the USB port on the TND.

    The reason being, the TND freezes while functioning.

    Ok i just found this thread lol where to start? Im a LTL delivery driver i go to Los Angeles alot and i rely on my rand 500 to get me where i have to go because alot of streets are poorly marked there. Alot of times mine freezes up and i have to shut it off to un freeze missing my turn,it takes me on alot of no truck routes, it dosent like to stay charging i have to wiggle the plug where it goes into the device and its only about a year old. i have e-mailed customer service about the issue gotten no reply updated maps updated software oh dont get me started on the error codes that pop up at that point lol. Any suggestions? I dont have the money for a new unit at this time.

    What is the serial number off the back of the TND?

    Then on preferences/general/about - right side, what is the version number.

    You bought a year ago, new or from someone?

    Only the "E" might have LTM's if was purchased.

    Bought it new off of amazon i have the shipping receipt here somewhere. sorry its a 510. serial number is 510-094556-el-12w34 it then has a space and v.5.7
