At any point during your orientation/hiring process were you required to sign an IRS form 4056/4056-T which gives your consent for prime to pull your tax return from the prior year?

That doesn't seem right for any company
-
I agree with you, just curious before applying
-
That would seem an odd request.

Agrre it is NOT right. Sometings very amiss. They could use your info for their gain. If you signed alreadyy I advise put fraud alert on your credit and report it.

Are they having problems with your previous employers verifying your work history? Or were you self employed.
you have to have at least the last 3 years of verifyable work history.
why don't you ask them why? -
No, they haven't asked me to sign one. I'm contemplating applying with them and was just curious if any new guys had been required to sign one-just don't want them snooping into my past earnings with a, shall we say, competitor lol
While I do appreciate everyone's input and concensus that they shouldn't-to which I completely agree, I'd really like a little more confirmation from someone who's recently went through their paperwork as a new hire and could tell me first hand if it was required -
If they want tax information to verify your employment (see what Chuck posted above) - they'll ask you to supply it. That's what they did to verify my self-employment... but that was quite some time ago.bigredtrucker Thanks this.

One of my ex-employers wanted to charge Prime money to verify my history with the company, my recruiter had me print out my last paystub from them and that was proof enough.
bigredtrucker Thanks this. -
I recently was turned down with self employment for past 2 years and a year of unemployment before that. I sent a letter apealing the process
and explaining my solid work history prior to the unemployment, I am still waiting on a decision from above
