Safe for Attractive Women?

Make the best of a bad situation; I peel the "out of order" signs off the stall doors and stick them on a stall door someone is using. Then the restroom attendent raises a fit when the guy swears the sign wasn't on there when he went in. Then the rest room attendent starts yelling about how stupid truck drivers are. Thinking back, I believe chewing betel nut, drinking San Miguel with a shot of absinthe with an opiate A-Bomb chaser in those foreign ports while in the Navy made me much more open minded and tolerant & view the world in a different light.

Edit : A-Bomb is the modern word for Thai Stick. Back in the day they were called Thai Stick. Google will show the big difference between the two.

 

I'd be more worried about the buffet.

 

After that time in Kansas City when I got food poisoning in the truck, I wrote my last will and testament the cramps I got was so bad. I got shakes and chills....and when the food decided to make an exit...There was no way I could of ran all the way across the truck stop to the restroom in time. Luckily, I had just went to Walmart and had plenty of plastic bags...and napkins from Pilot. Buffets on the road never again!

 

I'd agree most truck stops are relatively safe. You learn which to avoid, when in W. Memphis for instance you stay at the Petro, fenced in paid parking not as much riff raff going on.

 

Being raped or assaulted is a threat anywhere! Including in your own home. Truckstop are fairly heavily travelled, public places. Avoid the shoddy, poor lit places of the world and you'll feel safer.
