They wouldn't waste the fuel advertising. Probably a tankwash or customer nearby.

If you go south on Perimeter from the school there is a what looks like some sort of chem plant with lots of pipes and storage tanks less than a mile away according to Google maps sat.

Nearest tank wash comes up as this one 3.2 mi away to the west.

Hi! I looked at G'ville Tech's web page and they don't say how much it costs. Is it really only $1000? If so, I'll consider it. I'm in Columbia now but grew up in Greer. My Mom's still there and I could crash with her for the duration. Worth considering as my only other option is a company class. Any info appreciated!

Hi, Yes the final cost to you would be around $1100 to $1200 after the SC Lottery money. The only other difference is if you're out of county (Greenville).
Call them or go by and speak to Mr Chambers. Tough school but well worth it.

    Trish in SC Thanks this.

My situation may be a bit more complicated. I am out of county and I am also currently attending USC as a grad student, so my funding might not be what I would wish. In Columbia, at Midlands Tech, which is close to me, the program is considered part of the Quick Jobs category, so would be 3800 or so out of pocket (IIRC) and is not eligible for financial aid for anyone. At Greenville Tech it is listed as a regular academic program, thus I'm not sure how that would work for me since I already have ongoing student loans. I was going to use the overage from my loans to pay for the CDL class.

    Trish,
Your best bet is to call and talk to them.
I think the most you'd have to pay is ~2400.
Still a good deal with a school that will allow you to get the better jobs.

    Trish in SC Thanks this.

Thanks! I will do that. I'd rather go to a tech locally than a company school.
