Chances of getting hired as Dedicated route driver w/ new license?

Nah I work for c and s out of md

 

We do some that the store u loads some we have to use a electric jack. But some companies have u unload everthing by hand or hand truck just depends

I went with Werner and got on the trainers truck right after orientation.. i have a couple of weeks of training left and did get on a dedicated route where I will be home weekly, unless I choose to stay out longer and make more money.. as soon as i am finished with training I will go back to the terminal, get tested, assigned a truck and take the truck home for a few days of home time and to get it set up.. then I will have a mentor on my turck with me for a couple of days to show me the in's and outs of the account I am on... then I am solo and on my own.... yay..

 

After your training period a lot of the big companies have dedicated accounts you can get into. Werner, Schneider, JB Hunt, Swift...etc.

 

You can also look into companies like coca cola and pepsi doing there route deliveries
