I have had a class A for just about year now. During that time I drove OTR for a month or so then took a local class A job. Anyway, was thinking of coming back on the road. What should I expect at millis? Do they make you team for "X" amount of time or do they send you with a trainer for a week or two.
Millis new driver training.

Your best bet is to call Millis...your situation is different than most that go to Millis.
-
With a year expand most being local they will most likely put you with a trainer for 2 to 3 weeks to make sure you are ok with OTR and know how to drive, back,etc.etc.etc.
-
Knowing millis they will require you to go thru there school. Lol
-
You have to have at least 6 months over the road experience or you'll have to go through the training program.
-
Did they change it to 6 months? It used to be a year, didn't it?
-
It did but from what I have read - it's 6 mths (recent) experience -
Is Millis known for teaming, and if so do they have many Husband / Wife teams?

No, but they do have or did have a single husband and wife team that I am aware of. It wasn't dispatched as a team, it was more the wife was an approved rider/driver for the truck and the husband was the main driver. Special circumstance as far as I am aware.

No Millis doesn't team, after you get your cdl during training you'll do team driving with your trainer for a couple weeks other than that it's all solo
