Not directly. All the opportunities that I have right now the driver will need money down. Not a lot but some skin in the game. But if you don't have some reserves and can't come up with a couple grand for a down then this really isn't the time. This can be a cruel and unforgiving business.
Email me and I will send you some contacts of companies we have worked with that have been very reputable.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Is EOBR mandatory?
-
I'll speak for this as I hauled several loads from Covenant. Yes $5 a mile was the going rate on that stuff you have to understand they were expecting carriers to drop a loaded trailer and take an empty back to the Amazon dc wherever one picked up at. So really $2.50 a mile but I do know firsthand of guys running that stuff from other sources live load/unload from other sources where it was paying $5, $6 and even $7 a mile on big miles.
-
The team stuff that was planned didn't get to that rate. Unplanned was more in the $3 range. But solo, 500 mile stuff was seeing $5+ loaded. This is the reason that I hammer on being percentage. A lot of drivers making $1.40/mile hauled a lot of this freight.luvtotruck Thanks this.

Yes, but being on the expedite side this doesn't present much of an issue in terms of hours.
-
Where are the hiring areas?
-
Do I need to have Qualcomm installed if I go as a team driver?
-
Farm2Fleet has been contracted with Covenant to run a dedicated fleet. This is a great opportunity for an O/O to earn what they are worth and not kill yourself running soul sucking miles just to make ends meat.
We pull dry vans and mostly light loads with a growing drop-and-hook freight base (and no-touch).

[/TABLE]Road Boss Thanks this. -
What is weekly rent for the trailers? Any bonuses if I have my own trailer?
-
We have eliminated the weekly rent on trailers and reduced the percentage because we are getting better drop and hook freight. I'm sure we could get better percentage with own trailer but that would eliminate some freight.
Road Boss Thanks this.
