This crisis is what has been happening in this country for years, nickle and dime us to death, it's just that it is now catching up to the trucking industry. It is corporate America and it's political clout backing everybody into a corner, they are gonna squeeze every drop they can, unless they are stopped , it will never end.

How many Mark Kirschs do we have out there?
You want to take action? Who is willing to put an action plan together?

Plan it, put it out there, & do it!

(same story that Bullhaulerswife posted, another news station covering it)

How does a strike affect the O/O,Company Driver relationship?

What can I do to help?

How do you make a bold statement/impact where it will affect everyone without taking risks?

Can you get everyone to agree on a specific date and time to rally? I don't think it matters that there are different dates. Just spreading the word about the dates that are listed would help. Going to Washington D.C. sounds like a big step.

Good Luck to all of you O/O and supporters! STAND TALL!

Diesel fuel is controlled by the free market, if it is to high do not purchase it.

Low rates, are caused by you the O/O taking the freight. How can you as the O/O justify taking freight that will only cover the cost of fuel to move? Once you take low rates you are done, that broker knows you will do it on the cheap. You all are your own worst enemy.

The broker is out to move the freight for as low as he can get it, you the O/O's are taking the low freight.

Most of the O/O that I have talked to, do not really think of this as a business. The O/O on this board and others are the smart ones, trying to run a business, but the other 90% of the O/O drive the rates down.

In reality you are your own worst enemies.............

I in no way want the government to stick their nose into any price or rate fixing bullcrap..................We live in a free market system, keep the government out.
