This is trailer sat on the yard for a few weeks. Stout piece. 6 axles, hydraulic steering, load levelers(?). It can't just be a regular open trailer. My guess is that it is used to haul something very specific...I just can't figure out what. Any ideas?

    Which yard, where?
Goldhofer builds specialized trailers that do some amazing work. This unit utilizes hydraulics to keep equal weight on all axles as well as to appropriately steer according to curve and corner profiles to remove side load stresses.
This appears to be a European spec heavy haul trailer. I've heard that Mammoet brought a couple of their trailers from across the pond, as part of a proposal very a large project...this may be one of them.

    281ric Thanks this.

Not unless Mamoet registers their trailers in Mexico.

I don't think it is for a specific load. I think it is just a steerable step. They have more ground clearance then a DD and can get into a tight spot. You should hook onto it and take it for a spin. Mucino's website is pretty cool.
