tires are round and they roll if you have trouble unloading them I feel sorry for you man . And you don't need big miles when you get paid for everything you do I stoped.looking for miles and started looking for money instead its worked out well I can run 1500 miles and bring home over a grand its easy to do.if your a good driver and have a work ethic .

I can tell you bring home a nice paycheck. You must run hard. I guess most guys out here don't run that hard you know. I'm 31 and made 3 kids. I can work. But in reality, very few drivers get paid like you and i. They too need to get compensated you know..

Well I have to kids in diapers at home the reason I get paid high is because I am good at what I do I dont.turn down legal loads I don't yell at the dispatchers everytime I have a bad day and I am not a job hopper if the compllainers on here would spend more time working and less time whining they will be suprised at how high their pay will increase . Mabey jb does not have an account near you that pays that's fine there are many other good company's to.chose from if your a good driver and a good employee otherwise you will have to keep working for peanuts profesionalisim is what gets you the money . And just because you had a bad experience with jb doesn't make the whole company bad . When my wife had my daughter my boss called me to see how she was doing and let take my truck home for two weeks most company's will make you park at a terminal or turn it in they let deadhead home to make midweek doctors apointments for my kids most company's won't let you do that .

I doubt it I have 2 years doing intermodal, but I didn't want to take the job, I bought another truck so I can be free to work and be home at a decent time every day. Didn't want to be a slave driver.

Gonna set me straight are you about JB Schnieder Swift? I've been at this since 1993. At large companies your job security and paycheck quality is one policy change or dispatcher change or lost contract from putting you in the poor house and looking for another job.
I routinely put $3500/wk after expenses in my pocket and my dispatcher is me ... company owner is me .. Safety department (2 million miles accident free)
    is me.
If you're riding some gravy train at a bigger company right now.. good ... but the pendulum will be swinging back..and even during the gravy periods you're selling your time for half of what you could be making.. with less job security. Save your money now and clean up your credit if it's hurting... Send me a PM 2 years from now at your next company that's going to do the same thing to you and I'll draw you an escape route.

28 cpm to start with no experience ? I would think that would be horrible. that's $280 PER thousand miles... if you can run 3000 that's 840 per week and that can be done in 5 days. or 168 per day...But I have been at this a long time. But you will average 14 dollars and hour for a 12 hour day .
