To put a 6NZ together with an ACERT harness, you'll need to switch pins 11 and 21 on the ECM plug, as well as lengthen the alternator wires (because it's on the passenger side on a 6NZ). Pretty simple fix. I just built a '13 389 glider with a 6NZ, the gliders are delivered with an ACERT harness.
Is it posssible to plug and play replace an Acert Cat with 6NZ

What mods have to be made to an sdp harness to make it
work? -
What wiring has to be changed? Any help is appreciated.
-
If my memory is working, on the door jamb is a sticker that states something to the effect that altering the truck in a way that changes it's emissions is unlawful. So putting an older year in a truck is illegal.

mawk industries has 40 - 70/ 70 - 40/ 70 - 120/120 - 70. pin conversion harnesses
starmac Thanks this. -
I was just needing to find out if the cab to engine harness can be used or does it have to be
modified? -
Is the acert harness the same on the sdp engine?
-
I wouldn't think that it is the same, there is more stuff that the ECM monitors on the SDP versus all the other Acerts.
-
I was told the 2007 mxs truck side harness would plug into the 6nz ecm
-
Looks like you only switch 4 wires around on the cab side.
