yea thats my problem. i love my little debbies and im gonna have to slow if i go on the road. i just work as a security guard right now. i am walking 50 mins out of every hour sometimes 16 hours a day. so i normally burn those calories off. but when i start sitting behind the wheel, ill really gain some pounds if i aint careful. i weigh 250 lbs but im also 6ft 5in tall too so im still kinda slim

Stay under 20 carbs a day and take a metamucil about 20 min 3x a day before each meal. Should lose 10 pounds a week

I've read that the first twenty minutes of exercise burns energy/calories that are stored in the body, and that only after twenty minutes are we burning fat. Therefore exercising beyond 20 minutes is far more beneficial.
Once those endorphins start kicking in it really begins to feel good. I've set out many times intending to walk two miles, but it begins to feel so darned good I'll go three, four, and even five miles. I've known others to tell me that they've experienced the same thing. -
ok you all take care. all this talk about the little debbies makes me want one. guess im gonna go get one. lol. then have to get up at 3:30 am and go to work. talk to you all later

run hard and you'll be to tired to eat. kinda joking there, but when i'm out i actually tend to lose weight. (6'1 195 lbs) after @ 9-10 hours driving, then parking, talking with the wife, doing my logs, post trip, etc lots of times to tired to eat so i crawl in the bunk just to start it over. i usually lose @ 7-10 lbs when i'm out for 18 days or so. but maybe i'm weird.
other than that, park in the back 40 at the ts. that will force you to get some exercise (and it's usually easier to find a spot.) last thing is get a dog. again stopping to walk them also gets you exercise as well.Skydivedavec, Marksteven and Calregon Thank this. -
Best advice I can give is...
Don't snack while driving, unless it's something like carrots.
If you keep a bag of chips on the dash you'll be gaining weight every day.
All the really fat drivers always seem to have chips and other snacks littering the dashboard.Marksteven and Skydivedavec Thank this. -
Diet is more important than exercise but you need both. If you eat junk, exercise wont really matter. Sodas are the worst. Google viseral fat. Avoid sugars and processed foods (even a lot of stuff at subway is saturated in sodium and bad for you). Its all in the brain, you need to retrain it. Remember each time you drink soda or eat crap you really are slowly killing yourself.

Look at all your receipts for the week on how much you spent on food. Look at all that money you could have in your pocket instead of that lousy meal.
Cup+ ice @ pilot and j+faucet water = free
Pretzels instead of chips is a good place to start.
Eat a high k food to balance out the na.
Refried beans are the best way to lose weight.
No fat and an incomplete non animal fat protein so it breaks down super fast. Not to mention a can will last two meals so that's 60 cents a meal.Marksteven and Skydivedavec Thank this.
