GREAT POST!!!!.....They put a schooling on you huh? See fellas...thats the way its supposed to be "He bought the beers"...No drive by butt whippings on the radio...no one fingered salutes....Just good times.

Volvo makes a very smooth , quiet and comfortable truck. It is better than comparable Freightliners and Internationals for comfort. If it is equipped with a D-13 Volvo engine, you may have some engine related issues. Overall a good truck. I have driven a 780 for the last 2 years and will buy another one when I expand.

You probably wont get this but I'll try anyway...It doesn't take a cowboy to spot a goat in a herd of cows.

I've seen a few up close, looked in one or two, knew a few guys who've drove them, watched their resale value, read a few zillion posts and articles etc,etc and it all added up to P.O.S....Plus I know the difference between firewood and kindling as far as how trucks are built after laying under one or two.I DON'T know a heck of a lot about who owns them, insurance values etc But I DO know that you can't give one away around here and if you're looking for a tax write off you couldn't do much better than a Volvo because you'll lose your ### on it when it comes time to trade horses.

The small Volvo D-13 has had it's fair share of problems but I bet it is no more than the new Cat is having. Cat makes a great boat anchor.

Correction 05's are going for $69k. Check the truckpaper online
