Fuel hog, set the temperature... then go into the settings menu, and look for the door override selection. You (and your bosses) should know that the trailers once pre-cooled stay colder if you aren't drawing warm air into the trailer from the gap between the dock door and the trailer floor at the dock plate.

Ya we don't precool here. Half the time they're turned on when it doors already. Warehouse people don't care anyway, they want them on, we turn them on.

I'm the only person who knows how to set prime reefers here so I've been tasked with figuring this out

 

If it's your most recent job. Prime won't hire you unless they've changed lately. A lot of companies won't hire you for that either.

Best answer be from calling a recruiter though.

You 'should' be OK then. As I said, recruiter have your best answer. Prime hired me and I had been fired from a previous job.

 

I know it's been asked about 1000 times, and I think i've asked about half of those.. but for you guys in the lightweights, are you able to get a fridge of some sort, a TV, and some kind of cooking device in there comfortably? Especially with the passenger seat in.

 

Your not going to get a fridge in there with the seat. An electric cooler, like the igloo, yeah.

You can get a TV in there, but I don't recommend you do it yourself... Better to take the hit and have the detail shop install the TV. Any screw holes, broken plastic, unusual wear that is caused by any install not done by Prime will get you hit with a bigger charge to return it to the truck to original condition.
