    I heard my name. X___X

Road kill, I have been reimbursed for all trailer repairs. Sometimes it takes a couple phone calls and faxing and refaxing paperwork, but always eventually got what I was owed. Like Pete said, its just lost time on my part because trailer repairs rarely put me out long enough to get breakdown pay.

I picked up in Schuyler yesterday. In Princeton, IL getting ready to head in to my first stop in Harmony, PA since they have parking. I will take a 10 then scoot down to MD and hopefully get to visit with my dad!

For anyone traveling the I 44 corridor tonight and tomorrow morning, there is a winter weather advisory in effect. Unfortunately, they are saying the precip will be in the form of freezing rain.

Honeybadger, I hope you have a nice visit with your dad!

I am so sick of this winter weather. Stoked about seeing my dad though. Havent seen him in 4 years or so. Hes hooking me up with a new ((to me)) Connex cb, tuner, antenna and train horns. A better radio would have been nice this evening. Had great conversation on the Ohio turnpike for about 45 miles west of Toledo. No catfights, just pleasant chatter! Thats always refreshing!

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – With snow and freezing rain in the forecast for Jan. 31 into Feb. 1, MoDOT has advised Missouri travelers to use caution if traveling this weekend.

Light snow and freezing rain are expected to continue throughout the afternoon in northern parts of the state Friday with snow, sleet and freezing rain affecting road conditions north of Interstate 44 during the overnight hours.

Up to a quarter-inch of ice is expected in central Missouri, and that glaze could affect travel on Interstate 70 and other routes in the region.

“MoDOT crews will work throughout the night to keep roads plowed and treated,” said Beth Wright, MoDOT state maintenance engineer. “We encourage people to stay tuned to local weather forecasts, check road conditions on MoDOT’s traveler map, and avoid travel if possible.”

Heavier snow is also in the forecast for northern Missouri with accumulations expected to reach from 2 to 6 inches. Precipitation is expected to continue through Saturday afternoon.

Please forgive this off-topic post, but it looks like Central Refrigerated colors are no more. I know Swift owned them, but didn't know they were going to switch decals on the trucks, eliminate policies....etc...etc...

No real opinion here since I'm not a driver. But even though one was basically the other, I still like Central over Swift as a potential driver due to their policies here and there. No disrespect to Swift, either. I like their training procedures a lot.

I hope this post finds you all safe and happy.

Arrived at Butler last night and got unloaded in the middle of my 10. Shut down in Hagerstown and deliver the rest tomorrow morning. I got to see my dad today for the first time in 4.5 years and the second time in my adult life. We had an early dinner and got to catch up. Got lots of new toys today. New e-cig mod and juice from a local place. My dad hooked me up with a new to me cb setup so my loud mouth is about to get a whole lot louder!! Connex 4300-300 thats already been peaked and tuned, a Wilson 2000 that has been tuned and a frequency counter. Gonna have to do some modification to get it in the truck, this radio is biiiig! Oh, and train horns which are definitely not TransAm approved, LOL. Life is good. Have a great preplan from Baldwinsville to Omaha. Come Monday I willbe sitting on 1600 miles, a fresh 14 and $40 in stop pay. Not a bad way to start the week at all!!!

So I've read this whole thread and I know that it's been said that TransAm will only hire experienced drivers to be lease/operators. What do they consider experienced? I only have 3 months experience - that's not enough, is it? I'm asking because I'm looking into TransAm to get more experience but I want to be sure that they'll take me as a company driver and not make me go the L/O route.
