Central Refrigerated Truck Stop II

I remember that place. Was there twice. Right before I came off the road I did a delivery there and had the Damndest time bumping my assigned dock. I even remember thinking there was no way I should leave central yet since I couldn't back for #### that day. Lol

It is tight, especially right when you come around that corner and there are usually trucks waiting for a door coupled with trucks sitting in a door.
I wonder if that cute Mexican girl still works there!

Seriously?? We have been getting messages 2-4 times a day about this change over... Logging, macs changing etc... Irritating as all get out! Also got our new 'stickers' and the instructions say to cover up the 80,000 GVW... Called F&P, they say no it doesn't... LOL... The right hand has no idea what the left is doing... It will all straighten out I'm sure, but it will be a bumpy ride for a while I bet!

 

I guess we have been REALLY lucky! Left Atlanta, through Chattanooga and turned left at St. Louis on Tuesday... Then over the Rockies on 70 Wednesday... It was SLOW going out of GA/TN but we made it... Just a dusting of snow near the tunnels on 70... Then more dusting over Soldiers Pass and rain in SLC... Now running across NV and seeing sunshine!! Whew!

 

I've been getting messages too. But all they talk about is new system. Never talk about payroll changes. Sticker changes. Etc. so that's the part that irritates me. Where's the communication that everyone preaches?

also I just realized today that the truck I'm driving already has swifts dot number on it.

 

Got mine installed yesterday at a swift terminal. They didnt look too happy doing it by the looks on their faces. I told them I can put them on myself, but they insisted to do it

Did you end up peeling off the dot number for central or is the new placard just placed over it?

 

You can request a trainer of the same gender, and a trainer who smokes (or doesn't smoke) but there's no guarantee you'll get either one. I had a male trainer, I'm female.
