Scania v8 730hp

Nice......my neighbour from home has six of these now, the only problem he's had is having to get the speed limiter turned up to 93 so it would engage top gear, the overdrive is too tall, other than that they're good on fuel and demolish the 620's on the hills, one driver told me 'it's hard to tell if you're loaded' would be a great machine in NA with that overdrive.

Not too many around here in New Jersey but i notice fewer then years past, mostly from Newark area, the past year a tri axle goes by my yard several times a day and it sounds like a V 8.

 

Had a look at it today. Looks more like some kind of new P series. At least when looking at how low the driver was seated. There are at least 2 running around in Arvidsjaur/ Arjeplog area (worlds biggest testing center) . with all vw, audi, opel, bmw, mb ..... and so on prototypes

There was talk on the TV that Volkswagen is buying them?

 

Yup bought already, hopefully we won't see too many MAN parts in them , VW were looking at international, I don't know if they still are, a lone star with a 730hp v8, how about it? I can see VW trying to sell them in the US again, this time they'll probably do it properly by buying a local brand, maybe that's the plan if they can get international
