For KR to say that is sorta nuts and why I can't take him serious. There is no in-between with him. He doesn't know enough about the acert to say that. Watching the video looks like a nice truk

I've got over 1,000,000 on mine, Mechanically the Acert is the best engine they (Cat) ever built, its the electronic settings imposed by the EPA that makes them so hard to get along with. There are several members here more than willing to help you get yours right. Just my $0.02...

    This is weird.

I listen to Rutherford about once a month. When I'm totally bored I tune in & wait to see how long it takes him to piss me off so much I turn him off. I heard your call last night. Either just before or shortly after he spoke with you he gave his blessings to somebody wanting to buy an '05 Columbia with a 14.0.

The conflict in his answers made me switch back to Oulaw Country.

I would take your T800 over that Columbia any day. The early ACERT motors are fundamentally sound engines. Get the ecm done and you will be a happy trucker..

Rutherford is a charlatan. Ignore him.

Tackleberry, Cetane+ and bubbanbrenda Thank this.

Was just going to say if it was a Columbia with a Detroit, KR would be all over that, He assumes that alloperations are like the 1 he had with fedex, hauling light weight on flatland from Memphis to Jacksonville... he needs a serious wake up call,

That is a Beautiful truck your looking at, I love my Acert,

    Tackleberry and Cetane+ Thank this.

    I appreciate everyone's input.

I have read a lot of threads that involve Mr. Haney working with drivers getting their trucks dialed in or increasing their performance. How do I get a personal message to Mr. Haney?

The Acert came out in 2007, so why would a 2005 have one? They came out in D8's in 2005.
    Just a thought!
