If it would get 5 at that speed I would be happy. Like I said something somewhere is wrong. We have an msx that gets almost 6mpg running right along side this truck it won't pull with the nsx but it doesn't have a fuel temp wire. I dunno anybody want to buy a truck?!?

Did you check CAC, did you check fuel pressure, it should be around 105psi. Sometime shimming pump is not enough, no biggy a new pump is 250$, overhead, any leaks at the manifold or turbo... all these affect mpg

You mentioned turbo is boosting at 60lbs running down the road empty... is this constant or just under acceleration. Did you check the wastegate..is it working

I haven't shimmed the pump fuel psi is around 90 at idle 100 or so at high toms if I'm not mistaken. I'll check again but as far as the small things like boost leaks fuel psi overhead is all good fuel psi might be a couple pounds lower but not enough to hurt it this bad I don't feel like.

Fuel is fine...check CAC. Wastegate on turbo. Bellows between turbos for leaks

Just accelerating pullin a grade it's not acting crazy or anything but the local cat mechanic says he's never seen one make that much boost pullin an empty trailer up a grade and very few loaded truck making that much

My cousin has a 625 mxs and was having really hard time with mpg lately. Called a CAT house put it on dyno, dont remember what it was but problem solved... worth every penny

Yea that's what my buddy said that's a cat mechanic it maybe what needs to happen a mile to the gallon could pay for the repair in a week at this rate.

Mine does if I step on it but I got a bullydog, if you have a 550 heavyhaul file in ecm it can... spending $ on a dyno session at a CAT shop wont be wasted $... you wont get 6.5 at 75mph but they will get better then 4
