Central Refrigerated Truck Stop II

I received a message Thursday telling me to check out the website for all the new information. I think it was one that was supposed to be a fleet wide, but was pushed out to driver managers and they were expected to send it out, because it came from my planner.

 

I'm trying to remain positive and keep an open mind. There have been a few fleet wide msgs, but they're really only a basic overview. I'll just be blunt...for something this significant, the communication has sucked.

 

Shhhhh. Be vewy quiet. We're all huntin wabbits.

 

Is mycentralref.com gone?! At home and thought I'd finally start getting acquainted with the new company, lol. Oops... Is it "wingable"?

 

I'm trying to get rolling myself. Apparently we have to have new decals on the truck that no one told me about or mentioned a deadline for getting them on. Swift gets an F for communication on this transition.

 

I found it on my phone. Apparently my computer does not like the site because of security settings... Ugh, now I have to remember how to let myself in so I can read through all this stuff.

 

I think that some of the problem with communication is that much of it was left up to the DMs who did not follow through. I received several messages on the decals myself. But, that failure may in part be due to the fact that, as hard as the transition is on us, I think it has been 10x worse on them and they have been pretty over worked the last couple of weeks. Personally though, I'm really hating how the new macros work.

 

Am I the only one who did NOT know we're not using Trip Pak anymore?

 

Wait... What?!? No more trip pak? That's news to me. And communication has been horrid!! Just abysmal. I'm sure the transition has been hard on the DMs, but that is no excuse to leave us completely in the dark. I received no less than a dozen messages about keeping a paper log, but not a single one about new macros, decals or trip pak. Seriously, this is pathetic.

 

Mmm... Another added fact... Big Brother now has helpers!! A friend of mine who didn't want to post; and it wasn't us because we are on home time... Message recieved via QualComm...

So not only will the QC keep tabs on you, and the folks that have On Guard but now we have outside folks in cars 'observing' our driving... PS he is a lease driver - not company...
