what are some real-world fines for HOS violations?

    It's a decision you have to make..........Whether or not it's worth staying. Years ago I worked for a company that ran overweight almost every night. It wasn't necessarily that they wanted us to run overweight, it was just the nature of the job. I decided it was worth it for me to work there and, if given the chance I would probably go back.

    the job is worth staying for. i just dont drive if im not legal, and explain why. there ere always other drivers willing to take the trucks, and my paycheck is unaffected.

    most of the wotk here is nondriving, although all emplyees have to have a class a. the junior supervisors are aware that they're breaking the law, and nobody hassles me for refusing the load.

    not a problem for me yet.
