What do you think my chances are of Maverick taking me back? I had to leave to be with my mom but, well, I've nothing to hang around for now. Would they be willing to take me back or would I be better off looking somewhere else?

 

I was told today that every rehire us a case by case basis. You send them a letter in writing of why you had to leave and it goes to the hiring committee and they vote on it. As long as your record is clean and everything lines up and depending on how you left the company then you should be ok I would think. Unless you got an abandonment or something bad like that.

 

Nah I took the truck back up to Gary. I did have to leave on no notice though due to her condition declining so badly. Guess I will contact them and see what they say.

 

Givem a call. As long as you didn't tear up their equipment, did what you were supposed to do, And returned the truck where they asked you to, when you left, you'd be marked as "rehire" .
