NC Truck Driving Training School at Johnston County CC

Congrats guys. I never doubted yall. Those starting after the op, I trust things are going well for you too.
Again thanks for the very well maintained postings and weekly updates. I am set for the next class to roll through this school, with orientation on Feb 3, Class starting on March 3.

 

Good luck there mate. I left Fayetteville NC yesterday, sitting in Memphis at the moment, pulling into Arkansas tonight for orientation Tomorrow. Things sure happen fast. Keep us posted!

 

Wow, glad you got to work fast. I hope it works out for me like that. I will try to keep updating often, but the bar is set high.
Not sure what companies hire from this school or what the placement rate is but I expect it to be numerous and high.

My step son has started over at johnston cc.Got laid off and now the state is paying for him to go there.

 

That's a nice setup. He should be graduating about the time I start. As ncmickey says, work hard and it will pay off. Although I havent set foot on the JCC campus before, I believe this to be one of the top schools available.
I had originally planed to be going to the night classes by now, but decided I didn't have that much dedication. My load would have been my reg job from 6:30-4:30 M-F and school 7-10 M-Th and 7a-6p weekends. Not to mention commute times. Factor in study time and normal chores, that left no time for sleep. Been there, and don't care to return to it.

 

So it is finally in sight (well kinda). I attended the orientation class for this school last Monday. Still gotta pay, and actually go to class everyday. I forgot to ask if I can use class time to prepare for additional endorsements. If someone here can answer it that would be nice, if not I will ask when I get back. Class due to start March 3rd, provided all else goes according to plan.
