Illini pararie rest area heading to alsip Illinois...a metric crapload of patchy black ice on I57, and it's black ice so you can't see it till you're right up on it, not to mention saw about 10 wrecks in a mile

also for any one who saw my thread leaving prime, I put in my resignation for the 17tj and should be at the terminal around then, have a microwave and a tv and mount with a busted hdmi port I'd like to get rid of if any one wants to make an offer

Maybe I will see you. Im here till at least midnight tomorrow. Ive got like 2 hours left on my 70.

Its been an exceptional month. 12499 miles spread over last 4 paychecks. Came back out on the 6th of Jan.

Got to say its been the best start to a new year Ive ever had at Prime. 2743, 2944, 1010, 5802 solo miles. Ive seen some snow, and its been hairy at times, but nothing that I couldn't handle.

Last week was big because I got a restart before a NV to PA run that delivered Wed after cutoff, I then shuttled 5 trailers from MA to Pittston at a little over 600 miles paid roundtrip with a restart in the middle.

Almost at my limit given my truck is cut to 58, the roundtrip odometer was like 630, plus traffic in Waterbury, Hartford, or Boston depending on time of day I got thru.

Any way did an over nighter Wed. out of Hazelton to Wintersville, OH. Dropped and sprinted to my preplan in Grove Port, OH. Got it picked up and shutdown west of Columbus before my 14 ran out. Then dropped it in St. James last night. No empties, so I bobtailed to the yard.

The macro 19 for Wintersvilles says "no drops for produce or meat loads" says it multiple times explicitly, and yet I was surprised when the guard had me drop the load and take an empty.

    jomar68 Thanks this.

Still at SpriMo, hopefully testing tomorrow, even if I have to spend all night on the pad. I really want to get this over with and get back on the road.

BWhen the directions say no drops you need to call your FM before droping its not OK to do so just because the guard says so just to cya they may have a lot of claims from a place so they say no drops
