I'm in the Love's in Salt Lake City for my break. I'll gain 11 hours tonight and I sure hope the Wyoming I-80 gods have had enough black ice- and snow-making for a while. I'll find out in 10 hours or so.

Your kind of "rightie" is what republicans and conservatives used to be...before the tea party maniacs came to town and turned the entire party hard right, changing their primary process on the way. Now, it's all about seeing which candidate can be even more right than the next right wing candidate.

    End of political post.

I think we all know where I stand, ahem, to the left. And we will leave it at that. Denali I hope you have a safe, dry ride. I'm still literally stuck here in Millersburg. And I can't leave. And it sucks! But it is what it is. Be safe!

    DenaliDad and mrbmg Thank this.

Nice to know I have another trucking brother with me on the left. Kind of lonely on this side in the trucking industry. But we do have really good brownies on this side.

I have heard the term "tea party" quite a bit but I have never met one.. at least one who admits it.. or really what the term means...

if I convey my fiscal conservative views some would call me a tea partier or maybe a racist biggot for some reason.. I dont think there are as many tea partiers as the news would have us to believe..just a noose to rap around someones neck if they happen to disagree.. the same as calling someone unamerican or communist traitor...

my opinions vary and I refuse to wear anyones label.... like being called an atheist because I dont believe in someones religion... I dont believe in santa.. does that make me a bad person....

Safe, my journey will be. Always. Heck, I can go very, very slow because I have all these fancy gears that let me! As for dry, well, I'm not so sure, but at this point of my life, I would much rather contend with strong winds - which are very likely later tonight in eastern Wyoming where I'm headed - than have to put on one more stinking chain. Again.

My state elected one of the tea-est of tea partiers. And he's not afraid to admit it.

TEA . Taxed enough already. I think they are mainly concerned about spending. Unfortunately, if u disagree with Democrats, u must be a racist/bigot willing to starve children and throw grandma out in the snow. I am a fiscal conservative. We cannot spend more than we receive in revenue. I believe in live and let live. But don't expect me to support your bad choices. Anyway, the Dems are gonna win due to demograghics. Good luck. I have worked hard and saved. I can afford to leave the country if things go to heck.
