Starting to think giving up my Class A and starting over is the best option.
Seems none of these trucking companies will touch an individual that already has their license, but limited experience within the last 5 years.
Ive gone through the list of companies that have refresher courses, besides Western.
Anyone have any idea on local gigs in Wisconsin or Indiana?

    Let's say I haven't driven in over 10 years.
Have all the endorsements you could possibly have.

Fastenal is hiring in indy. Check them out, I think they are looking for hub drivers. Driving product from hub to hub. I work for them. I drive from Scranton to Indy, lay over than drive back. I like it, although 80 is a beast in bad weather. They hired me out of trucking school, almost there a year, good gig.

No verifiable driving experience in the last 10 years? Gonna be tough without a refresher course, way too many changes in the last 10 years, insurance companies control this industry, and I don't think any of them will go for it. Sorry.

    This^^^^

There are a couple of people at my school doing refresher courses, they both have 10 plus years experience you would think that neither one of them would have any business at school with a bunch of trucker noobs. They walked through the classroom blindfolded they ace all the backing maneuvers and OTR driving. But they gotta do there 160 hours before they can get hired. It is what it is pretty much.
