What is so hard for guys to figure out? A ladder and a roof rake and the snow can "safely" be removed from a trailer. I suppose some will whine they don't have a ladder. I carry one with me. Is it convenient or easy to do? No its not but its what I do to make sure I do my job correctly and not injure someone or something.

If they could prove it didn't hit the road first.

I wonder who has more money to spend on attorney fees you or walmart? If walmart wanted they would keep you from getting money for 10 generations. Your attorney fees would cost more than your dent (if you had one).

    LOL. Society today....

Why would someone consider taking off down the road if they knew they had a chance of something flying off their truck and damage someone else's property? It floors me to think guys would consider doing something so stupid.

So I start my day on dry roads, drive through nasty freezing rain/ice/sleet, 200 miles down the road it is 50 degrees, stuff is gonna come loose. Yea I don't have a ladder and I don't climb on trailer roofs!!! I guess I should block another idiot!

Agreed, I've had 4 wheeler try and stop me, not happening! LAst time was in San Fran,Ca, when a guy stopped dead in front of me just past a toll, I locked the door and called the police, they arrived with in minutes, probably because we where in the middle of the freeway, end up, the driver of the 4 wheeler, was behind me, tried to pass and knocked the mirror of his vehicle, and thought I should be responsible, cop, said, " you admit hit him , knocking your mirror off, and he should be responsible?", The cop asked me if I new about it, I told him nope, he let me leave , not sure what happen to the driver of the 4 wheeler

It's not. I looked at the list of all the threads he started, and didn't see anything about lights.

They aren't big enough targets for slip-and-fall lawyers.

We have one of those at my terminal. Only problem is, they keep parking spare tractors in front of it so nobody could use it if they wanted to.:banghead:

You just weren't looking close enough. He was complaining about O/D strobes.

"I think this is the same guy that had a thread awhile back complaining about strobe lights on an oversize trailer being too bright, Must not be much to do in Colorado."
Yes, I complained, no apologies, about the ridiculously bright LED strobe lights on an EMPTY oversize load trailer. My co-driver also said the same.
    So?
(I did not know that the flatbed was actually overwide by itself. What? A whole six inches?)

Such blinding lights are totally unnecessary. Steady yellow incandescent or LED lights would be far better at conveying the width of the trailer.
Obviously, some LED salesman talked the company into the ridiculous and expen$ive lights.

You have no common sense what so ever. You will complain about anything a driver does. Why are you on this forum anyway?

    not4hire Thanks this.
