man, you need a wash asap lol. You got more salt on that truck and trailer than a salt shaker.
peterbilt_2005 Thanks this. -
Well that's from union city, ca to whitefish, mt. Then playing slushroad trucker on I-90 to head Michigan way. I think it will wash off. Maybe

salt is like sand, it gets in everywhere, just make sure to give it a good wash after winter.
I send my trailers to get wash before coming back home (i pay for it) at blue beacon but when winter is gone, I personally get under the trailer and wash away that salt that stays in the inside of the frame and i also grease up.
Especially with my Transcraft Steps.milskired, 281ric and peterbilt_2005 Thank this. -
I thought I was the only one to wash inside my frame. And I stay home when the salt starts flying.

You got lucky there did it start vibrating? I've seen drive shafts come out and really destroy a truck

I stopped here in Dallas at TA tried to find parking. Werner was being a dumb ### holding a reserve spot for a Werner bobtail. I hit the drain running across the driveway trying to get out of the full lot. And I guess the stop go effect popped it out. I walked back looking for the bolt. No luck. So. I'm waiting till morning to limp my butt into the shop here . hopefully after pointing it out. They can get parts from Peterbilt.
